I love you big guy! You need to stop growing!
I love you big guy! You need to stop growing!
Last night after we had our song and prayer for FHE, Scott said we were going to have a special lesson.
Meredith said, “Daddy is it going to be about Adam and Jane?”
We received a great Christmas present from my brother Michael and his wife Christi. After years of trying for a baby, we found out they are expecting a baby due on August first! The entire family is so excited and happy for them. They will make amazing parents! Chirsti is now done with her first trimester and everything looks great. Congrats to them!
Our family is excited to have two new members of the family later this year. (Not what you may be thinking) Scotts sister Ali is having a baby due on June 2nd. PLUS his brother Tony is engaged to his girlfriend, Betty! They got engaged on New Years Day and are trying to find a date between the semester break. We are so excited to have Betty FINALLY in our family! Congrats to both!
I can’t believe the holidays are already over! What a wonderful time of year we had to spend with family and friends. Here is our 2008 holiday recap:
December 24th: Meredith had the stomach flu and was throwing up. Daddy and Grandpa gave her a blessing, but she missed all of the fun activities of the day. Scott and she stayed home, while Parker and I went to my parents house and then over to my grandparents house. Grandma and Grandpa were nice to come over earlier to give her her gifts. She even managed to squeak out a little smile when she opened the Sleeping Beauty costume. Parker and I had a great time (while wishing our whole family were with us) We has the traditional Swedish meatballs. (YUM!) Santa visited and we opened gifts.
December 25th: Meredith is feeling better and Scotts parents and sister join us Christmas morning. What fun it was! Later that day we went to Scotts parents house for a delicious dinner and more presents. We left before the major storm hit and relaxed at home the rest of the evening.
December 31st: Meredith is once again sick. She is getting sick about every night saying her tummy hurts. It’s making me a little worried. I think if it still goes on I will take her to the doctors. We stay home and I fall to sleep during a movie with Meredith. 12:00 a.m. After being to sleep for a good two hours I hear fireworks, roll over and kiss Scott a happy new year and goodnight!
Unfortunately we have been down with the flu and colds, and I have lost my head. I have forgotten to take my thyroid meds and it makes me forget a lot of things. SO…..if there is anything I have forgotten and still haven’t called or talked to anyone about I truly am so sorry! I have tried to be more consistent on my meds so I am hoping my brain will function better!
HAVE A HAPPY 2009!
